Lead Generation and Referrals: A core purpose of LoanWise is to match you with loan providers. In doing so, we essentially use your data to generate a “lead” for third-party lenders so they can provide you with rate quotes or contact you with offers.

Calls and texts may be made using an autodialer, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, even if your phone number is listed on any do-not-call list. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Text Messages (SMS): If you consent to receive text messages, message frequency may vary depending on your inquiry and interactions. Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Your mobile opt-in consent and phone number will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes unrelated to the services you requested.

Revoking Consent: You may revoke your consent to receive communications from LoanWise at any time and by any reasonable method, including replying STOP to a text message, sending us an email, calling us, or submitting a written request by mail. We will process your revocation within 10 business days. These “lending partners” use your information to evaluate your request and, if possible, provide you with loan offers or reach out to you to discuss your options. Your information may be shared with multiple lending partners simultaneously so that they can evaluate your request and compete to offer you the best terms. Please note: Once we transfer your information to a particular lender or broker, that third party will process your data according to their own privacy policies and practices. LoanWise is not responsible for how lending partners use your information after it has been shared.

Service Providers: We share personal information with trusted third-party service providers who perform functions on our behalf. This includes companies that host our website, maintain our IT systems, process data analytics, or assist in sending out communications. These service providers are contractually required to use personal information only to provide services to us and not for their own unrelated purposes.

LoanWise uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools to provide certain features of our platform. For example, when you upload mortgage documents to our comparison tool, AI is used to extract and analyze data from those documents, generate side-by-side comparisons, and produce a summary of findings. AI may also be used to generate estimated rate ranges and other informational content on our Site.

AI-generated content, comparisons, rate estimates, and recommendations are provided solely for general informational and educational purposes and may contain errors or inaccuracies. AI output is not a substitute for professional financial advice. You should independently verify any information generated by our AI tools and consult with a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

LoanWise does not use AI as automated decision-making technology to determine your eligibility for any financial product or service. Our AI tools do not approve, deny, or otherwise make binding decisions regarding your access to loans or other financial products.

Your Rights and Choices

You have certain rights and choices regarding your personal information. These rights may vary depending on your jurisdiction (for example, California residents have specific legal rights under the CCPA). LoanWise is committed to honoring the rights of users as required by applicable laws.

General Choices:

• Opt-Out of Marketing Communications: You can opt out of marketing communications at any time. For emails, click the “unsubscribe” link in any promotional email we send. For text messages, reply STOP to any message. You may also revoke consent to all communications by emailing us, calling us, or submitting a written request by mail — or by any other reasonable method.
